The list spanned decades of electronic music history, from “The Age of Love” (1990) as the oldest track, to a new wave of artists making their mark high up in the chart. At the same time, a resurgence of classic trance sounds confirmed that the genre’s roots remain stronger than ever, with renewed support for artists like Ferry Corsten and early Tiësto productions.
A clear wave of nostalgia ran through the ranking, with beloved tracks continuing to resonate alongside today’s biggest releases. Meanwhile, emerging artists such as Marlon Hoffstadt and KI/KI signaled the rise of a new generation shaping the future of dance music.
