Tuesday, September 15, 2020 - Tonight, the legendary Tiësto gets to kick off the brand-new monthly special ‘Label Showcase’ on One World Radio. Every month, Tomorrowland’s official digital radio and content platform will put the spotlight on a different label, starting with Tiësto’s very own record imprint Musical Freedom. The two-hour radio special will give 8 different artists the opportunity to showcase the best the label has in store. Each artist gets a 15-minute slot to play their favourite records and releases from the past and the present, as well as some up-and-coming and unreleased tracks, making it the ideal place to bring the entire label’s catalogue to life. Finishing off in style, the ending slot is reserved for the label boss.
During its inaugural edition, Dutch megastar Tiësto will take over One World Radio and present his own Musical Freedom label – an exciting hub of dance music talent curated by the world-renowned DJ and producer. Tiësto founded Musical Freedom back in 2009 as a way to freely release exciting music he and his friends were producing and performing in their live sets, making it accessible to a global audience. The artists from his expansive roster of talent that will be joining him during the Label Showcase on One World Radio are: one of the most promising DJs and producers of house music in Russia BYOR, San Diego born Cheyenne Giles, Norwegian producer and DJ Jonas Aden, Canadian DJ and producer Luis Torres, Dutch DJ & producer duo Magnificence, Amsterdam based artist SWACQ, talented young Danish DJ and producer Toby Green and Brazilian star Vintage Culture. These 8 artists will be showcasing the best Musical Freedom has in store, representing the label’s finely crafted reputation.
